Sahyadri , majestic mountain range  runs down from south of Gujrat north to southernmost tip of peninsular India along the western edge of the Deccan platue, and separates the plateau from a narrow coastal plain along the Arabian sea. It is an UNESCO world heritage site and is one of the eight hottest hotspots of biological diversity in the world. Rugged topography, rocky mountains and pinnacles, historic hill forts, huge lakes and extensive forest region are a virtual paradise for trekking, climbing and camping. The Sahyadris provide a wide choice of outdoor and adventure to all lovers of outdoor life - the trekker, the climber and the nature lover
Each year As May approaches its end, heat becomes unbearable , and sahyadri prepaire itself for one of the greatest darma on our planet , The Monsoon.
Thick and black monsoon clouds first hit the mighty sahyadries  by mid-June and discharge their bellies over mountains. Numerous waterfalls drop over the mountain walls and hill sides. Rushing streams flood into rivers. Whole landscape wears green coat of grass. Rain and  mist changed this landscape into heaven.
